Teacher's Day...
Since 16th May is special to teachers, I would like to thank my teachers too though some of them are not around anymore, without FB accounts or have forgotten about me:
Cikgu Argon-thanks for pulling my ears when I was in Standard 1, I am more alert in class after that, Sweet Cikgu Amnah who was so patient, Cikgu Jahara who appeared fierce but so kind, Cikgu Jaafar Bahari-the one and only teacher/headmaster who played the guitar during assembly accompanying our National Anthem and taught me to be confident in public, introduced me to traditional dance and instilled interest in story telling. Cikgu Sopiah Ramli who taught me BM in Jenan-insisted on us using the fountain pen when writing essays to make it more beautiful--she thought my handwriting was awful but I guess now she would be proud of it , Cikgu Ramli who alongside Cikgu Sopiah immersed me into debate and public speaking, Mdm Chua who taught me English in Set 2-we enjoyed the 10 cent fine for every non-English word uttered in class and the twisting of the pen. She dressed up so well everyday and what a pretty sight she was in class. Puan Lee Wah Hua who was so patient when teaching Maths but sadly I still couldnt get it until now <sigh>, Cikgu Ainon who taught me Perdagangan, Cikgu Azmi who was always asking around whether or not it was Sejarah period--he never had his timetable with him, so good in Cricket back then, Cikgu Tajuddin whom I admired for his involvement in Cadet and his fine drawing in Science class, Cikgu Bashah the warden whom I always had to walk to her quarters every other weekend evening asking for permission to watch movies on TV for the hostel girls, Cikgu Mehat Manwho was so cool and composed, Cikgu Said who had such beautiful signature on my testimonial, Miss Chan Bee Suan who taught me some hockey, Miss Lillian- netball and PE-she's one sexy lady then , and the principal Cikgu Md Zin who made me realized that being out of class too often was not OK when you got third grade for Trial Spm...LOL! (To mention a few). Thank you teachers for making me who I am. Love.
